Hamilton Murray Holdings Ltd. ("we") makes the Go Small's apps for the companies we own and run, such as Small's Expediting and General Services Ltd., and for the people who work with them: their staff, partners and clients. This page says what the apps keep, why, and who sees it.

What the apps keep

• Your account: your name, username, e-mail address (if you have one) and what you may do in each app, set up by your company's office in Go Small's ID.
• Your work: the tasks you log, their times, breaks and notes; the client, location and project they're for.
• Freight: shipments and pieces, their labels and where each was scanned, photos you take of freight, manifests, and proof of delivery: the receiver's name, signature and, when given, an e-mail address for their copy.
• Where you are, while you use the app: on a task form the app uses your phone's location to suggest the place you're at. It isn't tracked in the background, and you can say no; you then pick the place yourself.
• The camera: to scan the QR codes on labels and locations, and to take freight photos. Nothing from the camera is kept unless you save a photo.
• Bluetooth: only to connect to a label printer and send it labels.
• Signing in: when and from where (IP address, browser or device) you sign in, kept for security.

Why

To run the work: to log tasks and time, keep track of freight, print labels, deliver and prove delivery, bill clients and pay people. Nothing is used for advertising, nothing is sold, and the apps don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Who sees it

• The office of the company you work for, or with, according to what each person may do.
• A client sees only its own freight, manifests and proof of delivery, and only the people its admin allows.
• The services that run the apps for us: our web hosting, and Microsoft for the e-mails the apps send. They hold it only to provide that service.
• Anyone the law requires us to give it to.

How long

As long as it's needed for the work and for the records a business has to keep (freight, billing and payroll records). An account that's no longer needed is turned off or removed by the office.

Your choices

You can ask to see, or correct, what's kept about you: ask your company's office, or write to us below. You can turn off location, camera or Bluetooth for the app in your phone's settings; the app still works, with a little more typing.

Children

The apps are for work and aren't meant for children.

If this changes, the new version is posted here with its date.
